The Richest Man in Babylon is a book by George Samuel Clason which dispenses financial advice through a collection of parables set in ancient Babylon. Through their experiences in business and managing householdfinance, the characters in the parables learn simple lessons in financial wisdom. By basing these parables in ancient times, but involving situations that modern people can understand and identify with, the author presents these lessons as timeless wisdom that is as relevant today as it was back then.
My homie showed me this dvd a few months ago and I've been looking for it on DVD every since...Tupac was like the only RAPPER I was into back in my middle school days, I was strickly an R&B old school dude. Lookin at this gets me upset that a great lyricist like PAC is not around to school these upcoming rappers...This video is very interesting and out of all those theories and legends surrounding PAC's death, this one by far makes the most sense...this game is DIRTY!!!

Been waiting for these joints FOREVER! I havent paid over $100 for a pair on kicks since I beg moms duke to get me the Penny's back in middle school, however, I think I may have to scoop these joints when or if they ever come out!
I remember being 4 or 5 screamin down the street " SELF DESTRUCTION...YA HEADIN FOR SELF DESTRUCTION" and got a crucial butt woopin for ordering this video on The JUKE BOX at least 10 times in a row (youngins dont know bout " THE BOX"...lol). Now being 24 years wiser, I realize the importance of this song. Its sad how this is still relevant, especially when we're in recession! Will the crime go up? Where are we heading to now? Are we SELF DESTRUCTING as Americans/African Americans??? and finally, WHAT HAPPENED TO HIP HOP LIKE THIS??? The HIP HOP that voice the opinions and ideas for the voiceless? UMMMM I WONDER....

Jackson Pollock ( click on his name and you can paint just like him!) is one of my favorite artist. He is known best for his dripping technique and a major force in the abstract expressionist movement. Some may look at his work and think it's just some scribble scrabble on a board, but its more about his complexity and expression that he puts into his work. He danced around the canvas swifly creating a masterpeice that would become studied and observed by many that appreciate his complex style. Some say he was a mad man, but regardless, he inspired me as a painter to understand that " Every good painter paints what he is." So I encourage any artist, whether u sing, dance, draw, or paint, go ahead and get your Jackson Pollock on and EXPRESS YOURSELF! Watch the clip to see the master at work!
Here is one of my favorite paintings entitled "Composition mit blau"
"Invisible Man, a novel written by Ralph Waldo Ellison. It was the only novel that Ellison published during his lifetime, and it won him the National Book Award in 1953. The novel addresses many of the social and intellectual issues facing African-American identity, including the relationship between this identity and Marxism, black nationalism, and the reformist racial policies of Booker T. Washington.
Time magazine included the novel in its TIME 100 Best English-language Novels from 1923 to 2005."
Im currently reading this book for like the....hundredth time. First time I read it for an English assignment, I didnt really appreciate the dynamics of it until I got a lil older. Moving down the streams of my lifetime, I often pick up this great book and discover more fasinating details like it was never there when I read it the first time....So turn off the T.V. and pick up a book!
